We're thrilled to announce that Dolmenwood has received six nominations in the 2026 ENNIE Awards!

In case you haven’t heard of them, the ENNIE Awards celebrate the very best tabletop roleplaying games of the year, with the winners decided by public vote. Voting opens July 10th and runs until July 19th.

We'd be honoured if you'd consider supporting our work. Awards really help us a lot in terms of visibility and recognition in a crowded industry where Necrotic Gnome and other old-school publishers are competing to be seen alongside the biggest names.

Product of the Year

Dolmenwood Campaign Book
This is a really special one to us, especially Gavin, who spent years growing this sprawling, mossy masterwork from the seeds of indie B/X revivalism and a love of weird British folklore. It was a labour of love, and we really wanted to have the best possible product in terms of content, production, art—everything. And we couldn’t have done it without all the fans who believed in Dolmenwood and built our wonderful community.

Best Setting

It’s also been incredibly gratifying to see people’s enthusiasm for Dolmenwood’s setting, from the capricious fairy courts, mysterious witches, breggle intrigue, the lore of the Pluritine Church, and all the weird and wonderful folk that dwell therein. We’ve wanted to present a setting true to Gavin’s vision that supported referees’ creativity within the space, and I think we succeeded!

Best Monster/Adversary

Designing the Monster Book was one of the most delightful parts of developing Dolmenwood, especially when they got the jump on our hapless playtesters. If you’ve beaten some bramblings, dodged the drune, toppled a treowere, or had any memorable moments with our monsters, please give us your vote!

We love these beautifully illustrated maps by Jonathan Newell, Glynn Seal, and Arlin Ortiz that bring every picturesque and grotesque corner of the forest realm vividly to life.

The connection between RPGs and music has often been overlooked, even though it forms a core part of many tables and inspires creators. It was amazing to commission this atmospheric soundtrack by Tales Under The Oak to accompany journeys through the weird and wondrous forests of Dolmenwood. Give it a listen—and your vote!
