OSE Development Updates + New Carcass Crawler!

Necrotic Gnome

Development Diary: Delves, Demons, Domes, and More!

Doughty and dauntless, we develop delvers' delights deep in the Gnome’s demense. Do you dare doubt? Let us demonstrate:

Beneath the Radiant Dome

Playtesting, editing, and layout for this expanded science-fantasy dungeon crawl are now complete! Andrew Walter is currently conjuring up the full suite of illustrations, bringing the adventure’s dimensional oddities and arcane weirdness to life. We’re hoping for a mid-2026 release date.

Demonic Grimoire

The great demonic work nears completion with the help of a cabal of faithful playtesters. If you're part of the test cohort, please submit your feedback by the end of the year (the link is included in your playtest PDF). Illustration has begun, with over 120 diabolical drawings contributed by Lucas Korte, Tony Hough, Kennon James, Peter Pagano, Matt Stikker, and more. Our goal is to have the entire book polished and complete by OSE Month in May.

Dungeons of the Undermoon Starter Set

Playtesting is also drawing to a close for our OSE boxed starter set, including the Dungeons of the Undermoon introductory adventure. Testers, please submit your feedback by year’s end (see the feedback link we emailed you). Of course, we will also be contracting illustrators to illuminate this introduction to OSE and the Prismic Imperium with inspiring and instructive pieces.

Quick Delve #3: Against the Horselord

You won’t have to hold your horses much longer for this one. Our next short adventure by Brad Kerr is in final proofreading and remains on track for release around March 2026.

Plenty more treasures are being forged beneath the Gnome’s burrow, both for the adventurous expanses of OSE and the mossy depths of Dolmenwood. Stay tuned for future updates as these projects march toward publication!

Carcass Crawler #7 In Development!

The carcasses keep crawling, and this one is going to be a must-have for the seekers of arcane knowledge and macabre magics.

This tome holds many secrets yet, but for now, we can tell you that it features:

  • Expanded optional rules for magic
  • New undead monsters
  • A short adventure titled “Sins of the Fishwife”
  • This killer cover by Tony Hough!

Questing Beast Reviews Quick Delve #1: Milk (and More)

Ben at the Questing Beast YouTube channel has done a thorough review and flip-through of Quick Delve #1: Milk by Vasili Kaliman, a “solid” adventure of the type that “we could do with more of in the old-school scene”.

He also praises a couple of other innovative scenarios, including The Dream Shrine by Brad Kerr and Skullfungus. For more details on just what makes Quick Delve #1 and company such great picks for your table, watch the whole video below:
