OSE Month Collaborators: Gordy Higgins, M. Allen Hall

A growing cult of creatives from the old-school RPG community is joining us for a fiendish crowdfunding collab led by our own Demonic Grimoire this May. Meet:

Gordy Higgins

Gordy Higgins is an Australian director, animator, illustrator, and designer whose artwork has shown up in a range of RPG products, including the OSR adventure Cursed Calamity at Crossroads Vale. He’s released two free one-page dungeons, Temple of the 3 Wolf Moon and The Corvid’s Coffer.


For OSE Month, Gordy is brewing up Master of Puppets, a dark OSE forest crawl adventure for levels 4-6, with 38 keyed locations and two mini dungeons. Player characters investigate the disappearance of a famed toymaker as they take on haunted woods, possessed dolls, demons (natch), and other sinister challenges.

M Allen Hall

Author of the D&D-inspired YA fantasy Voidbringer novels, M. Allen Hall also has a hand in the darker side of the OSR with several Mörk Borg and Liminal Horror supplements under his belt, as well as original standalone RPGs like Godspark, a game where players scavenge the power of fallen deities in a purgatorial realm.

His offering for OSE Month is Out of the Iron Labyrinth, a post-mortem adventure for one or more players set in the terrible realm of Bethgor, Demon Prince of Chains.
