Curious about Dolmenwood? This Saturday, June 27th, is Free RPG Day, and there's no better time to take your first steps into the fairy-haunted forest realm.

Our official Free RPG Day release, Dolmenwood Quick-Start: The Weaver & The Redcaps, is a compact 16-page zine that introduces players and referees to our critically acclaimed fantasy adventure game inspired by the darkly whimsical folklore of the British Isles.

Explore a world where goat-headed breggles politick with human lords, mosslings farm the fungal lowlands, fairy nobles plot from beyond the veil, and strange creatures lurk beneath shadowed canopies.

Inside, you'll find everything you need to play a full Dolmenwood session, including:

• A beginner-friendly introduction to the rules.
• Six pre-generated 1st-level characters, including a wandering friar who catalogues bizarre fungi, an exiled fairy thief, a goat-headed magician on the run, and other memorable adventurers.
• A brand-new adventure by Chance Dudinack and Brad Kerr that begins with a cottage mysteriously lifted into the branches of a giant oak tree by mischievous redcaps.

Like many fairy freebies, you’ll need to be in the right place at the right time to receive this gift.

Printed copies are available free at participating game stores while supplies last, and some stores will also be hosting Dolmenwood game sessions using the Quick-Start, so be sure to check with your FLGS to grab a copy or join a game!
