The Gnome features in 50 Years of Fantasy documentary film!
Guild Productions and Build Something Media have announced the production schedule for the documentary 50 Years of Fantasy, directed by Blake DeRusha, which explores five decades of Dungeons & Dragons.
The ambitious project is slated to be packed full of rare archival footage, visual recreations, and in-depth interviews with artists and creators involved in fantasy gaming through its various lineages. This includes plenty of personalities from the old-school revival, one being Gavin Norman, creator of Necrotic Gnome, OSE, and Dolmenwood!
Aiming for a release in fall 2024, 50 Years of Fantasy is soliciting donations from fantasy gaming fans to help fund production and stories, photos, and memorabilia. To quote the team:
“We want to make this everything the community deserves in a documentary film, from telling the story of Dungeons & Dragons to highlighting the people who love and play the game, carrying the torch for future generations. But we can't do it without your support!”
