  • Cantrips: Minor magicks for apprentice spellcasters, perfect for low-level adventurers.
  • Level 0 characters: Create "normal human" characters for NPC retainers or funnel adventures, complete with backgrounds and name tables.
  • Freshwater monsters: Eight terrifying creatures that lurk in rivers and lakes, ready to challenge your party.
  • Up Chaos River: A thrilling short adventure where level 0 characters travel up a chaos-infested river to save their village.

Written by Gavin Norman, Chance Dudinack, and Brad Kerr, with cover art by Jacob Fleming, Carcass Crawler Issue 5 is set to surface in mid-2025. Watch this space for sneak previews and pre-release tidbits!
